Abortion Clinic Violence - A Perspective

Speaking to the National Abortion Rights Action League, Hillary Clinton tallied up all the violence done by some off-balanced persons against abortion clinics and their employees. We agree that these actions are without justification: In ten years, seven lives have been taken. There have also been 38 bombings, 146 cases of arson, and 733 acts of vandalism. These total 924 incidents of abortion clinic violence, many tragic and all uncalled for.

In those same ten years at the rate of one million, four hundred thousand annually, there have been fourteen million abortions in the United States. There have been fourteen million lives taken and nearly as many women and young girls deceived, wounded, and physically or emotionally scarred for the rest of their lives. Mrs. Clinton and others not only support this evil, but desire to export abortion to other nations, and are even willing to cooperate with a nation like Communist China, that uses compulsory abortion to enforce a one-child-per-couple policy of population control.

Mrs. Clinton should not refer to legal abortion industry we have it in our country as "health care," for it exists not to benefit the "patient," but works instead to the financial benefit of the individuals and companies who operate the abortion clinics, and the organizations that support abortion rights. The abortion industry is hugely profitable and unlike real heath care, almost completely unregulated.

Unlike the millions of defenseless children whose lives have taken in the womb, and the vulnerable women and young girls caught in crisis pregnancy, the abortion industry has obviously been able to protect itself fairly well from the few crackpots involved in abortion clinic violence. In addition, the abortion industry is coming more and more under the special favor and protection of federal and state courts, courts which are even willing to gut the sacrosanct First Amendment to provide "buffer zones" against non violent protesters, and to abuse laws like the RICO statues to stifle the abortion debate.

On the other hand, the women who come to the clinics are often already under pressure from friends and relatives to abort their baby and they are then "counseled" by totally unregulated clinic personnel who stand to benefit financially from every abortion performed.

To be truly Pro Life is to deplore the taking of human life. We abhor the small number of incidents of abortion clinic violence against clinics and their employees, and we abhor the 55 million acts of abortion clinic violence against children and women worldwide each year. Apparently, the fashionably "pro-choice" like our First Lady, are rightly disturbed by the former, all the while viewing the latter as a good thing.

As Joseph Stalin said, "One death is a tragedy, one million deaths is just a statistic..."

Bombing Yugoslavia To Pressure Milosevic To Stop The Killing in Kosovo

Here we go again. President Clinton, the United States of America, and NATO are using military might to force Yugoslavian President Slobodan Milosevic to sign a peace treaty with the Ethnic Albanians of Kosovo. The United Nations terms the action regrettable, but necessary.

It is hoped that this peace plan will bring an end to civil war and stop what has been termed ethnic cleansing, in that country. According to ABC News, before the NATO attack started, this civil war had claimed approx 2000 lives in the last year. Americans rightly wish that all the people of the world, including those of Kosovo, could be safe from violence and death. We are glad that America is sometimes able to help the oppressed, as we have done recently in places like Haiti, Iraq, and Bosnia, and are trying to do in Kosovo.

Let us consider however, whether we in America really occupy the moral high ground on the issues of violence and genocide. For example:

This same President Clinton has repeatedly vetoed protection for living unborn human beings from the violence acts of death perpetuated by the abortion industry in America, including the especially horrific partial birth abortion procedure that would make death by a bullet seem merciful.

The judicial system of this same United States, sanctions the killing of 1,500,000 of her own unborn citizens each year; she has allowed the murder of 40,000,000 over the last 26 years.

The same United Nations promotes genocide against the unborn human being all over the globe and there are over 50,000,000 babies killed by abortion every year in our world, including forced abortions in countries like China, (have you heard much from the White House on this one?).

So, perhaps some other nation should be sending troops to the United States of America to dissuade us from our war of genocide against unborn children, our ethnic cleansing, our oppression of innocent human beings, our Kosovo.

Now, that s an idea! Maybe, the Serbs of Yugoslavia, when they get themselves together and start acting like the Orthodox Christians they claim to be, and get rid of the war criminals among them, and stop killing their own people, maybe then they will send some "peace keepers" over here to our country and stop us from killing ours.

Yea!! Perhaps, all the nations of the world could send all their soldiers to somebody else’s far off land, where they could keep the peace and protect the all the weak and oppressed people of the someone else's country. Then maybe all wars and violence and death would be a thing of the past ... Perhaps ...
